About greenhouse SANUS:

Why should I choose SANUS greenhouses?

A SANUS greenhouse is the centerepiece of any yard it stands in, and its main features are robustness, durability, smartness and environmental friendliness.

Pitched greenhouse SANUS: for the frame construction aluminum profiles made by the Swedish company Sapa are used. They are designed to withstand snow and wind loans; their ends are equal, so there is no injury risk (galvanized steel profiles are processed with harvesting techniques and for this reason their edges are very sharp, so serious hand injury or cut gloves are possible).

For the greenhouse cover we use multiple polycarbonate sheets of 6 mm. The multiple polycarbonate sheets of 6 mm made by the Austrian manufacturer Lexan – Innovative Plastics are resistant to ultraviolet rays. Covering light transmission is 82%. Polycarbonate is extremely resistant to impacts. For durability of the sheets various accessories are used in order to prevent molecules from ageing and ensure longer transparency. Two-sided structure of the sheets has air channels which guarantee high durability and exceptional insulation properties.

For your convenience, we specially install reverse-hinged doors (sliding wheels are quickly covered by dust causing dust to appear on the rails and the doors come off the rails.

Why should I choose an aluminum construction/polycarbonate greenhouse?

Greenhouses with aluminum profiles and polycarbonate sheets have better microclimates – in greenhouses of this kind there is around 20% more light compared to a traditional greenhouse, which is covered with polyethylene film.

Roof windows and doors ensure good air circulation and if automatic ventilation and irrigation systems are chosen, the greenhouse itself will maintain the necessary microclimate.

During the construction of the greenhouse, skylights for ventilation, easily opening two-piece doors and gutters to collect rainwater are installed at the edges of the roof. The construction is thus solid and suitable for our weather conditions. Polycarbonate sheets contain special additives to hold infrared radiation, meaning that accumulated heat is retained longer in the night time. Because of the double sheets, up to 30% of the heat is saved, when compared to the glasshouses.

We provide a five-year warranty on our greenhouses.

The standard unit includes a base profile of aluminum. Most of the manufacturers of the greenhouses offer a galvanized steel foundation. Because of these foundations it is necessary to work carefully during the entire operation period. For example, while using a spade or weeding with a hoe the foundation must not be interfered, as this may damage the zinc layer and thus cause the foundations will begin to corrode due to moisture.

How does SANUS differ from the others?

The standard unit includes a base profile of aluminum. For its attachment you will save more time and money compared with other foundation options for the greenhouse. If using this kind of foundation it is necessary to work carefully during the entire operation period. For example, when using a spade or weeding with a hoe the foundations must not be interfered with, as the zinc layer may be injured and the foundation will begin to corrode due to moisture.

In winter it is not necessary to support the roof, as due to its particular construction snow does not linger on it (unlike on arch greenhouses).

Skylights can be installed in places where heat becomes trapped, according to your preferences. The design allows this to be done, as there are no technological restrictions, for example, there is no profile or panel connection. Skylights can quickly and easily be installed in the ridge and are waterproof and durable. Skylights can be installed later; this does not cause any problems. There is no need to drill holes, so the damaged construction will not start to rust. It is very important to ensure ventilation through the roof windows. The heat naturally rises up and is removed from the greenhouse. Sufficient ventilation ensures that the flower blossoms do not burn.

It is easy to transport, as everything is packed into three containers – there is a box with short profiles, multiple polycarbonate sheets and long profiles.

The process of greenhouse construction is constantly being improved. Our goal is to produce a greenhouse which meets your needs to the maximum extent possible.

Why is the SANUS so narrow?

We have chosen to produce this kind of greenhouse for two reasons. First of all, we have chosen an optimal width to make just one path (which can be paved by sidewalk tiles or other kinds of coating) and to reach all the plants without stepping off the path to avoid trampling the ground and possibly damaging the plants.

Secondly, in a narrow greenhouse it is convenient to plant the plants chequerwise. Thus when they grow up, they will not obstruct each other the sunlight and it will be easier to access, water and harvest vegetables. If they are planted in rows, then those plants which are closer to the center will be in the shadow of plants growing by the wall.

Are skylights really necessary for the greenhouse; maybe there is already enough ventilation via the doors?

Because of the skylights it is much easier to control the heat instead of creating draught through the doors and the window on the rear wall of the greenhouse. If it is not hot, then draught removes moisture and heat, regardless of how little the ventilation window is opened. And if there is no draught, the plants can overheat.

Depending on time and temperature, the skylights can be closed. When this happens, the heat and excess moisture can easily be removed without negative effects or draughts affecting the plants.

Excess moisture can cause a lot of damages in August if the outside temperature is not high and moisture accumulates in the greenhouse. Closed ventilation windows and doors form ideal environment for the spread of diseases. The most common disease – potato plague – damages tomatoes very quickly, and then they have to be rooted out early before the vegetables ripen.

Pathogens usually flow in the air with water vapor. As the temperature rises, they are successfully eliminated by the hot air flowing through the skylights.

Are automatic skylight openers necessary?

Automatic skylight openers react to the temperature inside the greenhouse and open or close the skylight accordingly, so that a proper temperature is maintained inside the greenhouse. It is very convenient, as you do not have to open or close the skylights every day. Automatic skylight openers are installed very easily and do not need any additional sources of energy. It is simple, convenient and reliable.

What additional I can buy?

SANUS greenhouses may be installed with additional doors and partition between tomatoes and cucumbers or flowers from vegetables.

The number of skylights depends on your wishes and the amount of free space on the roof.

Additional automatic skylight openers can also be installed.

We have created an adjustable plant tethering system. The ropes can be laced according to the plants, so you do not have to adjust the plants to the structure of the greenhouse.

We have created easily attached shelves of sprouting-planting spices-tomatoes ripening.
For your convenience, you can choose the height of the wall and the length of the greenhouse. The greenhouse is installed in sections, so the length is calculated every 70 cm.

There is a possibility to extend the greenhouse. You can order an additional extension kit.

An automatic watering system will facilitate the maintenance of the plant. Each plant receives the same amount of water without any loss of water, hard work and worries.

About the Multifoil AntiDUST Banner:

Why condensation in multi-polycarbonate panels is a big problem?

Condensation is a natural phenomenon for multi-polycarbonate panels due to relative atmospheric humidity. Water vapor naturally forms when the plate is exposed to a warmer surface. These water vapor combine into liquid. The Multifoil AntiDUST strip has a unique surface that promotes the rapid removal of condensate formed from the plate and also prevents other contaminants from entering inside it.

Condensation is the cause of the formation of algae and fungi, because they require water to survive. As soon as it is removed, the faster the algae and fungus are prevented. Many other ending bands do not have such a filter system, thus creating the conditions for algae, fungus survival.

Should a breathable tape be used on both ends of the board?

Yes, it’s necessary. Cover the upper part of the plate with the G3600 tape and lower the bottom with the AD3400 or the AD4500 breathable tape. Sometimes the tape does not stick, but then it threatens the damage to the board and the aesthetic image. However, when using slabs for pitched roofs, it is necessary to stick a breathable tape at both ends.

Why not just block the ends of the plates and prevent the condensate from getting inside?

Studies have revealed unusual phenomena associated with channel polycarbonate panels. It was proposed to seal both ends of the channel polycarbonate in order to eliminate the condensation problem. In practice, it has been shown that, after sealing the ends of the channel polycarbonate plate, the condensation problem has not been solved.

Subsequent studies have shown that even if the channel polycarbonate panels were sealed under almost vacuum conditions, condensation was still found. It was concluded that the channel polycarbonate surface behaved like a semi-membrane and water vapor entry into the plate was possible. Thus, using the Multifoil AntiDust tape, condensation does not stop on the board and is quickly removed from it.

Why use the Multifoil AndiDUST Bar?

There are potential problems such as dust, algae, fungus, insects, condensation, etc., which may affect the aesthetic appearance and lifetime of channel polycarbonate. Multifoil AntiDUST tape is the most advanced and fully integrated security system for channel polycarbonate users. Collaboration with manufacturers such as SABIC is also conducting research that greatly improves the life of the sheet at the end of the warranty period.

Why Are Multifoil AntiDust Bars More Costly For Economy Class Bands?

It is not a good idea to compare Multifoil AntiDust’s breathable tape with an economy grade tape.

The economical class of breathable tape is most often made of non-woven polypropylene fabric laminated with two adhesive tapes. Non-woven polypropylene material is most commonly used in agriculture or horticulture. This is certainly not a sufficient protection against a variety of organisms that damages the channel polycarbonate panels. Therefore, such tapes must be avoided.

Specially selected non-woven materials are used as the main component, along with the AntiDUST tape, while the non-woven material in the economic grade is already the final product. Multi-foam nonwoven material is approved according to a special formula made of glue, which is completely harmless to kanalinis polycarbonate. They provide excellent surface adhesion, are resistant to temperature changes and other climatic conditions.

Carefully selected chemicals for cocktail protection have been thoroughly tested and subsequently impregnated with a belt. The Multifoil AntiDUST tape is able to efficiently remove condensation through a small mesh filter, as well as a grid to prevent dust, insects and other contaminants entering the channel polycarbonate interior.

Why does the Multifoil AntiDUST tape better eliminate condensation than other breathable tapes?

One of the main functions of the Multifoil AntiDust strip is the rapid removal of moisture. This was achieved by the special treatment of the surface of the tape, which effectively eliminates excess moisture from the multi-polycarbonate board and also prevents the entry of dust into it. During a certain season, the amount of condensate in the panels is increasing, so it needs to be removed immediately.

What is the size of the Multifoil AntiDust strip?

We produce breathable widths of all kinds – the AD4500 series and the classic version – the AD3400 series, together with the sturdy sealing tape – the G3600 series. The length of the tape can be changed according to wishes and agreement. Upon request, we can offer different sizes, lengths and widths of rolls, depending on what panels you use.

Protective film roller

The main advantage of using this tool is that it allows you to remove the required amount of protective film before gluing an anti-dandruff tape. If the protective film is torn off from the plate, you risk tampering or scratching it. A simple but effective tool that accelerates the machining of panels, saves time and money.

Multifoil AntiDUST tape clamping roller

Rollers come in different sizes to suit the thickness of different boards. The roller provides greater and evener pressure to ensure that the tape glue securely adheres to the surface of the plate.

Multifoil AntiDUST juostos laikiklis

Enhance work with AntiDUST wires and help maintain a smarter work environment. Installation on different strips of bands. The sharp blade supports the belt easily and quickly, reaching the desired length.
